GDC Consultants Ltd attended the Field Days 2017 event last week at Mystery Creek in Hamilton. This was the first time GDC has been at the event and it was a great experience for all involved. Throughout the event there was some good feedback about GDC Consultants and their business. Which will hopefully lead to establishing strong client relationships. We had the opportunity to attend the event and share a stall with Humes Pipeline Systems.
New Zealand National Field Days 2017
The popular Field Days event is an agriculture based business expo that brings crowds from throughout New Zealand and overseas. The 2017 event ran from 14th – 17th of June and brought in over 130,000 keen farmers and public from NZ and Worldwide. GDC Consultants Ltd attended the event all four days, despite the mud and traffic. Most of this time was spent meeting interesting businesses, or potential clients, and taking advantage of the great deals that were on offer.
The team at GDC Consultants Ltd thought the Field Days event would be a fantastic opportunity to gain brand awareness in a simple way. It was also valuable to get the GDC Consultants Ltd name into the agricultural industry. As well as meet a range of businesses and individuals who could become valuable clients in the future. Some of the key areas that were focused on at the event were Bridge Design, Cowshed Design and Foundation Design. These services were emphasized to appeal to the agriculture market.
GDC Consultants Ltd shared a site with Humes Pipeline Systems, one of our existing valuable clients. The days at the event were spent handing out business cards and flyers. This was part of informing people of who GDC Consultants Ltd are and our experiences in the field of engineering consulting in New Zealand and globally.
